Rodolfo Chiari Benedetti is the founder of Grupo Pomelo Inc., a corporate group to which belong companies in different economic activities, such as agro-industry, hotel industry and real estate, among others.
He is the Treasurer of the Board of Directors and shareholder of Grupo Cía. Azucarera La Estrella, S.A. , one of the largest producers of sugar cane of the country, which also owns other agro-industrial companies dedicated to livestock, seed production, rice, animal nutrition, shrimp, and a marketer.
In addition, he was a member of the Board of Directors of Banvivienda, Panamanian bank with more than 30 years of presence, and current member of the Board of Directors of the Foundation Ricardo Chiari Remón, dedicated to charitable purposes.
He was one of the major shareholders and worked for 30 years in Industrias Lácteas, S.A., one of the leading dairy companies in Central America, held several positions of Senior Management, during his successful career.
He studied at the Universities of Fairfield and Columbia, where he obtained the degrees in Business Administration and Finance and an MBA in Marketing.
